Children’s Health & Long COVID

A note to parents and kids

As a nurse specializing in pediatrics, I have often used kidshealth.org to help parents and children understand healthcare and medical diagnoses.  This is a great resource for teaching the community about medical issues and what to expect. -Nurse Laney

If your child has received a secondary diagnosis in the post-covid stage, you can learn about it from the parent’s perspective, and your child can learn about it from their perspective.

  • You can search key words like surgery, digestion, fatigue, etc.

  • They have some really good content related to coping with COVID in schools, etc.
